Butterflies! CC376 and MORE!

Happy Tuesday!    I am hosting this week's Splitcoaststampers Color Combo Challenge!  With the SU In Colors 2010/2012 soon to retire, I thought it would be great to pay homage to these wonderful hues. CC376: A Blushing Peach Crush Pizzazz Pirade!   The dessert option is to choose 3 colors.  However, if you are feeling adventurous, go ahead and try your hand at 4 or go all out with 5.   Check out the link to play along!

For my card  I am using ALL 5 colors!  I am using the sketch from Card Patterns 166.  This sketch allowed me to use different colors and patterns in the sections provided.  I did turn it on its side.  I layered some patterned papers and textured elements.   I am using ODBD Faith stamp set with the Custom Butterfly Branch die that goes with it.  I colored the butterfly branch with copics and added  a few gold metallic pearls.  I finished with a seam binding bow and a button.  With all these colors and patterns, I wanted to keep the embellishments simple.

Just wanted to add that ODBD has Custom dies that are very detailed with intricate cutting.  While the final design looks hand cut because it is so detailed, trust me it is not.  This design was die cut with the ODBD Butterfly Branch die.  One pass through the die cut machine and it is done.  This is how detailed these ODBD die cuts are.  An amazing product.

As always, thanks so much for stopping by!

Betty
