Thanks So Much! Crazy 4 Challenges and some Great News!

Happy Saturday!  I have some exciting news to share!  The ladies over at Crazy 4 Challenges have asked me to join the team!  It is official!  I am part of the Crazies!  WooHoo!

This month Barbara is the host!  This week's Crazy 4 Challenge-C4C136  Barbara is challenging us to an inspiration piece!     I am also using this week's Mojo Monday sketch240 for my card.

For my card,  I tried to pick out pattern papers that sort of mimicked the look of the fabric.  I am using some Cosmo Cricket Evangeline dp.  I heavily ink distressed not only the edges but also the whole panel to tone down the vibrancy a bit so I could mix more patterns together without them clashing too much.  I kept with the circle theme by adding layers of circles as well as some open work with the larger frame in keeping with the bowl design.   I finished with some metal detailing since bowl is metal,  a loopy bow, and butterflies to add more dimension and pattern.   I am using Verve's Thankful Accents, Small Celebrations, Blue Skies (smaller butterfly), and  All Aflutter Plain Jane.   I am also using Verve's Cut Above All Aflutter and Ribbon Banner die sets.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Betty
