Crazy 4 Challenges and Thinking of You!

Happy Saturday!    It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenge with the Crazies!   Check out the C4C blog for more challenge details at Crazy 4 Challenges(C4C214).  

This week's challenge is to make a 
"thinking of you" card and mail it!

 For my card I am using Verve's Poppy Birthday, Thankful Accents and Words of Wisdom stamp sets along with Verve's Cut Above Poppy and Flag It die sets.  I layered some fun pattern papers, added some sewing machine stitching, combined paper and ink distressing, and mixed in some stamping.  I just love these new poppies and dies!   I finished with a few of Verve's Pastel Sequin Mix for additional accenting. 

I am using Deconstructed Sketch No. 128.

C4C - Snowflake Splendor!

Happy Saturday!    It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenge with the Crazies!   Check out the C4C blog for more challenge details at Crazy 4 Challenges(C4C212).  

This week's challenge is a sketch!

 For my card I am using Verve's Snow Wonderful, Snowflake Splendor, and Winter Wonder Remixed stamp sets along with Verve's Cut Above Flag It and Award Banner Trim die sets.   I stamped the snowman using Memento Tuxedo black and colored with copics.  I added some snow glitter to the snowman and a few of the stamped snowflakes as well as some tinsel glitter for added texture to the hat.  I added some tiny snowflakes from Winter Wonder Remixed to the sentiment tab, the patterned circles on the paper, and on the Award banner in aqua mist or snow white inks.  I finished with Verve's Autumn Elements Ribbon Collection in Wine threaded through the Award Banner die and topped with gem covered button added to the bow.

JOY to the World! Crazy 4 Challenges, MIM, and MORE!

Happy Saturday!    It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenge with the Crazies!   Check out the C4C blog for more challenge details at Crazy 4 Challenges(C4C211).  

This week's challenge is to put a frame on it!

For my card I am playing along with Papertrey Inks Make It Monday Challenge which is to create  a square frame using stamps.  I chose to use one of the accent pieces in the Big and Bold Wishes Christmas stamp set.  I stamped the frame using Pure Poppy and added a corrugated glitter JOY to the center.   I finished my Christmas card with a seam binding bow and tiny sentiment tag that says ....to the world.  I am using Deconstructed Sketch 126.

Welcome!  If you just got here from Anya's blog you are in the right spot.  For my card I am using Verve's Because of You, Each Day, and Tall Oaks stamp sets along with Verve's Cut Above Tagged Rectangle and I Heart U die sets.  I used Copics to color my butterfly and added some glitter for added sparkle and definition.  I cut it out and popped it up for some added dimension.  I finished my card with some ice blue glittered card stock heart dies and a seam binding bow using Verve's Signature Ribbon Collection in Water.  I am using this week's MOJO Monday Sketch 318.

This week's challenge is to 
make a black and white card with 

one splash of another color!

I need to make some more Christmas cards, so I just knew the black and white with a splash green could be a festive color trio.   For my card I am using Verve's  Winter Wonder Remix stamp set with Verve's Cut Above  Winter Fun die set and Tiny Sweet Scallop die set.  I die cut the snow and trees from glittered card stock.  I added  a few gold pearls.  I finished my card with a moss green seam binding bow from Verve's Summer Sailing Ribbon Collection.
