Verve's November Release Spotlight Hops ~ DAY 3

Welcome back to Day 3 of Verve's November Release Spotlight Hops!  It's an exciting day as there's new Verve in the store this morning! Two beautiful new sets and coordianating die sets just released and they're all available in the shop right now. To celebrate our new release, we're putting on another blog hop with a fabulous giveaway!

Today's featured focus is designer's choice, so you might just sneak a peek at a whole bunch of must-haves!

I decided I wanted to use the Beyond Measure stamp set again today.  I started with some electric red cardstock.  I stamped Jesus, Joseph, and Mary image from the set in versamark and heat embossed in white. I layered an oval frame over with some foam tape for added dimension. I sponged on some versamark to the frame for added depth and richness in tones.

For my sentiment, I chose a sentiment from the same set.  I white embossed and die cut using Verve's Mini Bookplate die set.  I added some foam mounting tape.  I decided to add some clear wink of stella to the entire oval area for added emphasis.   I tried to capture some of that shine in the pictures.  I finished my card with a few of Verve's Shine Bright Sequin Mix.

Verve's November Release Spotlight Hops ~ DAY 2!

Welcome back to Day 2 of Verve's November Release Spotlight Hops!  The Verve Divas and special guests are back for another day of spotlighting our new release! Everything previewed this week will be available to order in the Verve online shop on Friday, November 4.

Today we're sharing our first projects featuring the Beyond Measure stamp set and coordinating Christmas Spirit Die Set.

For my card I started with a piece of vintage cream card stock.  I lightly brushed on Ranger tumble glass distress ink.  I built the color up slightly from bottom left outward and upward.  I stamped one of the leafy sprigs from Beyond Measure using olive ink.  

Next, I die cut a the large pennant from Verve's Stitched Pennant die set in vintage cream card stock.  I die cut and stamped the dove and tiny twig from Beyond Measure.  I chose to heat emboss in the gold the dove and the focal sentiment from the same set.  

I added a strip of gold foil card stock to the base of the card. 

I finished my card with some loose threading and a few gold sequins from Verve's Gold Package Sequin Mix.

Verve's November Spotlight Hops ~ DAY 1!

For my card I started with some really old designer papers I had in my stash from long ago that I came across when I was purging my craft space this past summer.   I stamped, die cut, and copic colored the adorable reindeer from Jolly Jingles stamp set and die cut with Winter Friends die set.  

I then die cut and layered the tag from Verve's Flourished Tag die set using a mix of the pattern paper, vintage cream and red card stocks. I finished my card with a few red sequins from Verve's Holiday Sequin Mix.

Day 4 ~ Verve's October Spotlight Hops!

Today we're sharing our first projects featuring the Autumn Blessings stamp set and coordinating Autumn Thanks Die Set.

I started with a sheet of smooth white card stock and stamped different shades of greens using the Autumn Blessings leafy medallion.  I added a few touches of  teal and coral using a couple of the images that come in the set as well as a few tiny dotted images and pinecones from Pinecone Christmas set.  

I stamped using the die cut from Autumn Thanks die the leafy medallion and stamp using the three leaf sprig all the way around the image alternating different hues of greens.  I popped this image up offset with a gold foil die cut frame.  I added a black enamel dot to the center to finish it off.  I die cut the "thanks" using some gold foil card stock.     I love the warm fall masculine feel this card has.

Day 3 ~ Verve's October Spotlight Hops!

Today we're sharing our first projects featuring the Everything Nice stamp set and coordinating Pumpkin Spice Die Set.

For my card, I started with some green gingham designer paper.  Nothing says fall quite like some warm toned gingham!  I die cut and stamped three of the pumpkins in hues of oranges and rust colors.  I inked the sentiment in a tangy orange shade and rocked and rolled a cocoa shade for added depth.  I added a coffee mug tag with a stamped pumpkin to comply with this week's Mojo Monday Sketch.

I also added a pumpkin border across the bottom stamped in versamark.   I love this whimsy look!   I added a few gold stars to my pumpkins using Verve's Gold Package Sequin Mixix.   I used Kirarina Wink Gold Metallic glitter pen to color the other stars on the pumpkins for a metallic finish. Of course, my card would not be complete without some wink of stella on those pumpkins and coffee cream topper!
