Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC13). This week Cindy Haffner is hosting. Cindy is challenging us to a sketch she has designed. As far as sketches go, there is not much explanation necessary. You can turn it and enlarge the sections to fit your card size. However, in the end, it should still look like the sketch. Good Luck!!!! Looking forward to seeing what you do with it!!!

I am using the Flourishes Siberian Iris set. With Mother's Day just a couple of weeks away, now is the time to order this beautiful set!!! I interpreted the squares behind the circle with more layers. I used the Spellbinders Label three diecuts to layer behind squares. I am using some Memory Box dp.

I stamped one image on cardstock with sentiment. I cut it out with my circle nesties. Then, I stamped another flower on gp white cardstock. I colored my Siberian Iris with copic markers, then cut it out. I made sure to outline all the edges in permanent black marker. I also altered the silver domes in the corner by coloring them with the permanent black marker. I added some shimmerz to my iris to give it alittle sparkly sheen. I had to reconfigure the sketch to fit my square card so the sentiment is in the circle and a bow knot is in the place of the sentiment.

Be sure to check out the Friend of Flourishes Blog Team cards to see what
they did with the Sketch Challenge!!!

This card is also for the OCC Challenge. "This week, Silke is challenging us to use *our own* favorite Color Combo on a card or project - how easy is that???" I would have to say that my favorite color combo is red, white, green, and black. Sometimes more or less of one shade, but usually all four.
