Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC61), CC265!
It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC61)! This week Barbara Anders is our host! Barbara is challenging us to use the stuff we bought. A "bought it use it" challenge so to speak. Now, if you purchased some pretty embellishments and put them away for a very special card, or you got some fancy smancy tool/punch that you just had to have, or better yet, you bought a gorgeous pack of designer papers and you have yet to use a piece, this is YOUR challenge! Tear off those wrappers girls, if we bought it we are using it this week! You have our permission! We would love to see what you create with the stuff you bought!
For my card I am using Flourishes Thinking Of You and Tag Lines stamp sets. I am using Flourishes Classic white cardstock. I am using some wonderful light green gingham ribbon that I have had for awhile, but not used it. I am also, as part of the challenge, using my crimper. I create a flat embossed look with mine. More details here about this background technique. I also am using my notch corner punch. I have not used it in a long time.
This card is also for today's SCS Color Combo Challenge(FTTC265)! It is all about Certainly Tempting Suede! The dessert option is to crimp something!
Please check out what the other blog team designers created with the bought it use it" challenge!

ReplyDeletei looked back at your background technique and love the idea! i also have many embossing folders but don't use some of them often because of the intensity. this is a great way to add a little bit of texture to your card pieces!
