ODBD For the Love of Flowers HOP!

  

Welcome to Our Daily Bread Design's Alumni Team's bi-monthly For the Love Blog Hop.  This week the team along with some of the ODBD designers are featuring a hop for the For the Love of ODBD Flower sets! Check out each link and leave a comment. For my card I am using ODBD  From Me to You stamp set.    I just recently purchased Spellbinder's Grand Scalloped Circles so I thought I would create a scalloped circle card.  I layered with the Grand Circles using some MME designer papers.   I layered the focal image with Spellbinder's scalloped squares and regular  squares.  For the floral image I inked up the fuchsias in Memento rose bud and stamped off to create a soft floral backdrop for my sentiment.   I  stamped the sentiment with Memento tuxedo black ink using the Stamp a Ma Jig for perfect placement.  I ink distressed all the edges.  I finished with a seam binding bow topped with a coordinating paper flower.  

While it is pretty clean and simple, I love the over all finished look.  Just a fun card to show you that you do not have to color flowers for a pretty look!
