Happy Saturday! It is time for another Crazy 4 Challenge with the Crazies! Check out the C4C blog for more challenge details with the crazies at Crazy 4 Challenges(C4C185).
This week we have an Inspiration Photo!
For my card I am using Verve's Surely Goodness and Smile Plain Jane stamp sets. I also used Verve's Cut Above Banner Bundle, Rounded Scallop, and Goodness Flowers dies along with the newly released Occasion Frame die.
For my card I focused on shapes, colors, and textures. I thought the background pattern I chose focused on the starfish shape in inspiration picture. I chose to emphasize some orange pattern papers in different hues and patterns. I continued with added textures from the soft felt stitched starfish from picture to the contrasting rocks underneath with distressed edges, stitching, rounded corners, sharp corners, and dimension. I masked the Smile Plain Jane stamp. I stamped the Make Me Smile portion in Morocco Memento ink. I then masked the banner portion and inked with Ocean Tide ink. I cut this banner out by hand and layered over one of the Banner Bundle dies. I then stamped the coordinating flower from Surely Goodness in a
soft golden yellow ink. I then used the largest flower with leaves and stamped directly to the coordinating die cut image from pattern paper. I added a some coloring touches to the leaves with Spectrum Noir markers. For the bow I used Verve's Signature Ribbon Collection in Cream.
I am using this week's Mojo292 Sketch.
