A little tropical flair is in the air for inspiration this month. Bright pinks, aquas, golden tones and a touch of white promise easy breezy days ahead. There's no script for this inspiration... go floral, keep it modern, follow our color pattern or forge your own path, just show us your tropical chic inspired creations.
For my card I started with some watercolor paper and mixed squeezed lemon, scatter straw, and wild honey Distress Inks to create the sun colors. Once the paper dried, I die cut it using Verve's Partly Cloudy Cut Above dies. This image looks like the sunburst mirror hanging on the wall in the inspiration picture.
Next, I used some watercolor pattern paper by Momenta. I love the look of the free-formed watercolored background. It adds to the sky effect for the sunshine. Best of all, it is all ready done.
I added the scripture from Verve's Good Work stamp set.
I used some fun foam to pop the panel up on to a white card base. I
added some fun foam to my sun and one of my clouds for even more
dimension. I finished my card with a few clear sequins.
As always thanks so much for hopping by!
