Happy Monday! I have a card to share today. I am playing along with this month's Papertrey Ink Blog Hop Challenge.
Here is the inspiration photo.
I decided to play off the warm tones in the inspiration photo. I love the greenish tan tones of the bottom circles. I decided to carry that theme around the perimeter of my card using the bouquet leaves from PTI Friendship Jar Flowers. I placed the image on my MISTI. Each section of leaves was stamped first with fine linen, mint julip, and then spring moss. Once the colors for each section was complete, I moved the card stock frame around until each area was done.
To add some red, pink, yellow, and soft gray tones, as well as keep with the circular look, I used the cluster image in the same set. I stamped these randomly in hues of sweet blush, lemon tart (some images stamped off for an even softer look), and soft stone stamped off.
Next, I sponged a piece of white card stock using Ranger's Candied Apple ink heavy at the bottom and lighter at the top. I die cut the Inspired Faith from this sponged panel. I die cut the word two more times and glued all pieces together. I used one of the small frame ends in Center Style Feminine die and white embossed the sentiment from Faith Mini stamp set. I finished my card with some loose white threading a few clear sequins.
As always thanks so much for hopping by!
Betty
