If you are here from Amy Rysavy's blog you are in the right place.
My first two cards are using the Holiday Glimmer Hot Foil Plate. I used the die cut elements that come in the set.
This card uses Spellbinders Small Circle dies and Large Circle dies. I used pattern papers I have in my stash. I heat embossed Stampendous Shabby White embossing enamel onto the pine sprigs. I layered the poinsettia die cuts. I used some Tim Holtz Kraft Metallic card stock in gold. The sentiment comes from Penned Elegance: Christmas. I finished the card with a few gold pearls in the center of the poinsettia.
For the second card, I kept this one clean and simple. I used select white card stock. I used the Holiday Glimmer Hot Foil Plate. I focused on the die cut elements and used the poinsettia and leaf images on this card. I also layered Spellbinders Scalloped Borders Two. The sentiment was gold embossed using Sentiment Staples: Christmas. I finished this card with some gold pearls.
My next set of cards uses various colors of card stock and the Classic Christmas Cut and Emboss Folder. These were some of the easiest and fastest cards to create. I either gold embossed the sentiments and added Tim Holtz Kraft Metallic card stock in gold behind the cut out, or white embossed and added select white behind the cut out. The sentiment comes from Penned Elegance: Christmas and Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Christmas.
My last card uses the Deck the Hall dies. There are some wonderful elements in this set. I chose to focus on the trio of snowflakes. I used shades of blue, white, and added Tim Holtz Kraft Metallic card stock in silver. I created a fun snow splattered background with acrylic white paint. The sentiment from SSS Snow Much stamp set was silver embossed over blue embossing powder for a subtle shadow. I added clear sequins to the centers of the snowflakes.
