Hope Your Day Is Fab!

Hello friends! I have a card to share today playing along with a
couple of blog challenges.

I am playing along with  Altenew's November Inspiration Challengea and the Flower Challenge.

I started with white card stock. I used Altenew's Beauty Within stamp set and Beauty Within die set, and Beauty Within Layering Stencils.  I stamped the leaves using Gathered Twigs and Candy Violet inks.   I ink blended the leaves stencil layers using ocean breeze, aquamarine, and slumber inks for the aqua leaf.  I used soft lilac, lavender, and deep purple inks for the purple leaf.  I stamped the solid leaves from the stamp set using versamark ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  To create more of a fall vintage feel, I ink blended the edges of the leaves with antique linen distress ink and the gold leaf sprigs with brushed corduroy distress inks.

Once all the images were inked and die cut, I focused on the background.  I started with white card stock.  I used sweet mustard and marigold inks using the DTP technique (direct to paper swiping the ink pad across).  I did this until the entire panel was covered.  Next, I used tree lot distress mica spray and tarnish brass mica spray to add some shimmer, texture, and depth the the panel.  Once it was dried, I stamped Hero Arts Script Bold Prints background stamp using doe ink at the top and gathered twigs at the bottom to create a distress fad look.  I arranged all of the elements onto a white top folding card base using foam tape.

For the sentiment, I used one of the sentiments from Altenew's Garden Rose stamp set.  I stamped onto white card stock using versamark ink and gold embossed. I die cut the sentiment using Paper Rose Sentiment Strips dies.  I ink blended brushed corduroy distress ink to the sentiment while it was still in the die to create a border.  I did add a some antique linen distress ink around the edges.   I used an artist brush with black acrylic paint and magenta acrylic paint to add splatters to mimic the beautiful colors of the inspiration picture.  I finish the card with a few of the golden crystals mix.

Here is a list of many of the products I generally
use every time I make a card.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!
