Flourishes Timeless Tuesday(FTTC130) Challenge and a Sneak Peek!

Happy Tuesday!  It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday(FTTC130) Challenge!   Tammy is the challenge host this week.   Tammy is challenging us to use fruits on our cards.  The FOF team is giving you a sneak peek at a new set being released this week called "Wild for Watermelon."   Check out the link to find out how to play along for this special challenge and what to do to win a stamp set!

For my card, I am using Flourishes soon to be released  "Wild for Watermelon"  stamp set.  I must say watermelon is my FAVORITE fruit!   I sometimes opt for a plate of sliced watermelon instead of a meal.  So, when I found out that Flourishes was releasing a watermelon set I was thrilled.  Then, to find out I get to sneak peek it...awesome!  I used one of the watermelon wedges stamped twice, colored, and cut out to layer around one of the fun sentiments that come in the set.  I also used one of the sentiments to stamped some background text on one of the panel using versamark.   I am using Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock.  I colored with Flourishes Copic Color Collection.    I used some Spellbinder's for focal image and border.    I finished with a black gingham bow!

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC129)!

Happy Tuesday!  I am your Flourishes Timeless Tuesday (FTTC129) Challenge host this week!   My challenge this week is easy peasy. All you have to do is make a card or project showcasing your favorite flower or flowers! Our gallery should be blooming with beauties this week!   Looking forward to seeing what you create!

For my card, I am using Flourishes Spring Bouquet for the focal image and images from Sweet NatureMoments in Time, and Strips and Stripes  stamp sets to make my background patterns.    I am using Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock.  I embossed, stitched, and inked distressed the edges of all the different panels. I stamped my Spring Bouquet and colored with Flourishes Copic Color Collection.    I used some Spellbinder's for focal image and tag.  I also used the negative space from the postage frame in Spellbinder's Creative Book Pages dies to create a unique ivory border.  I added some different colored sparkle to finish it all off with a must have Quickie glue pen!  (I realize I have been a wee bit extreme with my glitter of late, but I really cannot help myself)!  I finished with a piece of ivory crocheted trim and seam binding with bow!  I am using Chupa's Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #22 this week for my card!  Great sketch, Chupa!
