Flourishes Beautiful World Tour!

Hello Everyone and welcome to the October Flourishes Beautiful World Tour! Once again, it's time to get those passports ready, grab a cup of coffee, and prepare for take off as we travel the world for Flourishes stamp inspiration from talented girls from all parts of the globe!

A big thank you to everyone who traveled the globe with us last month and stamped our passports(left comments).  We were thrilled to have you join us!

Each month the team will create cards based on a theme.  All you have to do is take a tour to each blog, leave a comment for a chance to WIN!  One of the teams blogs will be a chosen vacation spot and one lucky person will win a Flourishes stamp set of their choice!   So, get your passports ready, grab a cup of coffee, and enjoy the Flourishes Beautiful World Tour!

If you've jetted here from Finland (Anne-Elise's blog)  your in the right country. If not, you may want to start your Beautiful World Tour at the Flourishes blog so you don't miss any of the inspiration along the way!

This month our hostess is the lovely DINA! She has challenge us to CASE each
other!  We've all been inspired by other talented paper crafters at various
times and a CASE challenge (Copy And Share Everything) is one of the best ways
to get those creative juices flowing! Come travel with us and see which team
member has inspired us to get crafty!

For my project this  month, the beautifully talented Meredith inspired me.  Her blog is chocked full of just gorgeous cards and projects.  I just love the wonderful box in bag she created here. The super easy tutorial is HERE at Splitcoaststampers.

With Christmas just around the corner, I always try to keep my eyes opened for fun little gifts to give others.  However, oftentimes the hardest part is the wrapping.  Presentation is everything.  These little box in a bag are easy to make and literally cost pennies to create. Plus, with the little box in the bottom they can hold quite a bit of stuff and are sturdy as well.   Gives lots of options for all kinds of fun gifts from hand lotions, ornaments, to sweet confections.  I love how Meredith stamped her own background paper.  A designer after my own heart.  I love to create some DP by ME!  I chose to make three little bags for Christmas.  I just love how they turned out and they were super fun to make as well.

For my first box in a bag I am using Flourishes Winter Bouquet  and Sweets of the Season stamp sets.I am using Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock.  I stamped the winter bouquet with Versa Mark.  I finished with a cream seam binding bow.

For my second box in a bag I am using Flourishes  Sweets of the Season and the snowflakes from Warm Winter Wishes. I used some kraft card stock and red card stock along with Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock.  I used Memento Cocoa, Rhubarb, and Sky inks.  The snowflakes were stamped with some cream pigment ink.  The border at the bottom is in Spellbinder's Creative Pages Two dies.  I also used the Spellbinder's Fancy Tags   for the closure topper.   I finished with a cream seam binding bow and Spellbinder's ornament die used as a tag.

For my third box in a bag I am using Christmas Classics and Christmas Music stamp sets.  I am using Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock.  I stamped the the bird and branch image with Memento Cocoa and the musical score image with Memento Desert Sand inks.  I tried to keep this one with a more manly feel.   I finished with a cream seam binding bow.

I hope you've enjoyed your visit in America!   The next stop on your Beautiful World Tour is....

As always thanks so much for stopping by!  Enjoy your Beautiful World Tour!

  1. Oh my GOSH! Betty, these are SO beautiful! I love the Christmas backgrounds, and you're so right - the small ones are the best gifts, but it's easy to lose them under the tree! I think your recipients are going to miss the gift, and be caught up in the wrapping! You are so sweet, thank you so much for such a complimentary post!
