Be the Reason!

Happy Sunday! I am popping in with a card to share.  I am playing along with a couple of blog challenges.  The Card Concept and Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  I chose the middle going across. My free item was the butterfly.

I just love all of the colorful cupcakes and details in the inspiration photo.  Instead of going all carbs, I chose to make a very colorful butterfly!

I started with some stampers select white.  I die cut and stamped all of my framed elements to mimic the background cupcake plate using Stitched in Time stamp set and Stitched in Time border die.   I used amethyst allure, lovely lady, and hawaiian shores inks.  Next, I stamped a piece of classic kraft card stock with Cover Up: Quatrefoil stamp set using classic kraft ink. I used kraft to mimic the actual cupcake batter.

For my butterfly, I diecut and stamped the butterfly from Butterfly Blooms stamp set and Butterfly Blooms die set with versamark and white embossedI used Tim Holtz stamping platform for perfect placement.  I used my Arteza Waterbrush markers to color.  I did spritz with water and blot a couple of times to get a more pastel tone of colors to look like the icing.  I also added some Wink of Stella pen for lots of shimmer and shine.

I die cut the sentiment strip from Tag Sale Quilted die using True Black card stock.  I stamped  the sentiment from Kindness Counts stamp set using versamark and white embossed.  I assembled my card and finished with a few clear Nuvo Crystal drops Morning Dew.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!
