Happy Sunday! I am popping in with a fun card to share. I am playing along with a few blog challenges.
I finally tried Yupo Paper and Alcohol Inks! For this card, I used Alcohol Pearl ink intrigue, Alcohol ink sunshine yellow, and Alcohol ink sunset orange. I also used some blending solution and a craft mat.
I let it dry overnight. I used Alcohol Lift ink to stamped the SSS You Matter cling background stamp. The You Matter stamp set was released in 2016. I love how the alcohol lift ink removed the ink. I stamped it a few times to achieve this look using the MISTI.
Next, I die cut Altenew's Fine Frames Cover die using Tim Holtz's Ideology Metallic Kraft paper pad. I die cut and layered the SSS word die "You" using the same gold paper.
I stamped the sentiment from the SSS You Matter stamp set using versamark ink on to true black card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I used the fishtail sentiment strip from Wine Bottle Tag #2.
I added the panel to a top folding PTI Select White card stock base using some foam tape to pop it up in the center of the gold card stock frame detailing. I finished my card with a few clear sequins.
Here is a list of many of my favorite products that I generally use every time I make a card.

ReplyDeleteBetty, this is amazing! I've never used alcohol inks before but you've got me itching to try. The way you've used the background stamp and lifted the colour from your vibrant background - FABULOUS! Thank you for joining us at Retro Rubber Challenge.
ReplyDeleteBetty, this card is killer gorgeous. I have been procrastinating with trying alcohol inks, and you have encouraged me to try. I love your choice of colors, the gold elements, the embossing on the white banner for the sentiment. Just something to remember for future entries, the challenge is CAS - Clean & Simple - one main focal point, lots of white space, minimal layers, minimal embellishments. Thanks for sharing your artistry with us at Addicted to CAS.
