Happy Thursday! I am popping in with a card to share. I am playing along with a few blog challenges.

All the best heroes are ordinary people who make themselves extraordinary.

I started with Bristol Smooth paper. I stamped the floral image from Hello Lovely using versafine onyx black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
For my coloring, I mixed it up a bit. I alternated with the distress sprayer spritzing the paper then stamping, inking the stamp and spritzing the stamp before stamping, or using a paintbrush and picking up some of the distressed oxide inks and coloring the image. I love the free-form feeling I achieved varying the methods. I used peeled paint, crushed olive, fossilized amber, festive berries, and picked raspberry distressed oxide inks.
Next, I stamped the sentiment using stamp using versamark ink on to true black card stock. I used Simon Says Stamp Hello Darling stamp set. I heat embossed with white embossing powder and die cut using a fishtail banner die. I trimmed off the excess. I used foam tape to pop up the sentiment.
I added some wink of stella to some of the flowers and leaves. I added the panel to a top folding summer sun card stock base. I finished my card with a few clear sequins.
Here is a list of many of my favorite products that I generally use every time I make a card.

As always thank so much for stopping by!
Oh, Betty... This is gorgeous! I, too, love the free-form-feeling from your inking techniques, and the white sentiment on black cardstock is stunning. So pretty... so classic! Thanks so much for sharing with us at Words 2 Craft By.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful watercoloring - what a clever take on our photo inspiration at ink, something I didn’t think about at all. The card is lovely, classy and feminine. Thanks for joining our challenge at Inkspirational!
