Happy Saturday and Happy New Year! I have a project to share today showcasing dies from Spellbinders January Small Die of the Month.
Here is some information about
This month's collection is called Bold Love! It contains 10 dies. The letter dies are separate from the frame piece. The letter dies have embossed detailing. There are extra dies to add more hearts, steams, and flowers to the focal piece, or to use alone.
For my card, I started with a pure poppy card stock. I die cut the frame piece four times and used Nuvo Deluxe adhesive to glue the panels together to create stability and dimension. I die cut the letters twice using select white card stock and glued together. I added the letters to the frame.
Next, I stamped a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Delicate Flowers stamp set onto true black card stock using versamark. I white embossed and die cut it out using Avery Elle Simple Sentiments die. I added to the center of the focal image using some foam tape.
I added my focal image to a panel I die cut with Honey Bee Stamps A2 Layers die. I sponged the edges with versamark to create some depth of color using a foam sponge.
I used foam tape to add this panel to the to a top folding pure poppy card stock base. I finished my card by adding sparkle with a glitter pen.
I am playing along with Case This Sketch and Time Out Challenges.
