Hello friends! I have a card to share today playing along with a couple of blog challenges.
I started with white card stock. I am using Ink to Paper Prosperous Perennials stamp set and Prosperous Perennials die set. For the flowers I used pure poppy and schoolhouse red inks. For the leaves, I used simply chartreuse with a touch of ripe avocado.
Once all the images were inked and die cut, I focused on the background. I used black card stock. I stamped Hero Arts Bold Prints Script background using versamark ink and clear embossed. I went for a more distress stamping. I die cut the panel using Scallop Stackers Medium die. I used foam tape to add to a top folding black card stock base.
I die cut Paper Rose Studio Large Mesh die using gold foiled paper. For the sentiment, I used Beautiful Bouquet: Mother mini stamp set. I stamped onto black card stock using versamark ink. I white embossed. I die cut the sentiment using Paper Rose Sentiment Strips die. I arranged the elements onto the card panel. I finish the card with a few PFS Metallic Gold Pearls.
I am playing along with Simon Says Monday Challenge and The Paper Players Challenge.
Here is a list of many of the products I generally
use every time I make a card.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
Bold and beautiful, Betty! The flowers and leaves really "pop" against the black. The pearls are the perfect accents. Thank you for playing with The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteBlack was definitely a great choice as a neutral here! I love how bold and bright the flowers look against it and the extra details of the clear embossing and scallop die cut are fantastic! Thanks for sharing at The Paper Players!
