Just Because!

Happy Wednesday!  I have a card to share today playing along with a few blog challenges.

My card today uses May's Amazing Paper Grace (APG) Die of the Month and More Sentiments Glimmer Foil Plates.  I started with white card stock.  I ink blended a panel using aquamarine ink and mermaid cove ink.  I used the smooshing technique to add some extra shading.  I die cut the panel using the larger of the Mini Slimline rectangle dies included in the APG Kit. I added some foam tape and adhered it to a Mini Slimline top folding card base using black card stock. I die cut the same slimline rectangle die and coordinating detail die from the APG Kit. using black card stock to frame the panel.  I die cut the sentiment frame and layered in the center of the Mini Slimline frame.  I chose to die cut the layered top portion using white card stock.

I added a gold foiled sentiment using one of the sentiments from the More Sentiments Glimmer Foil plates using white card stock.  I ink blended two panels one using grassy knoll, key lime, with a touch of olive ink and the other panel using bubble gum and raspberry bliss.  I used the same smooshing technique as the background panel. I die cut the included the flowers and leaves dies include in the APG Kit.

I arranged the flowers and leaves. I finished the card with a few gold pearls.

Here is a list of many of the products I generally
use every time I make a card.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. That fantastic die cut background reminds me of fancy wrought iron gates and fences! I love it in black against the Bermuda Bay; it's so eye-catching! Great slimline design! Thanks for sharing at The Paper Players!
