Happy Wednesday, friends! It is the time of the year to get crafting with inspiration from The Card Concept Challenge!
The challenge is Change of Seasons!
Hope you can join us and play along!
I was inspired by the background, color, and theme. I created a Mixed Media styled card.
I started with select white card stock. I stamped and die cut the Fantastic Foliage stamp set and Fantastic Foliage die set. I also used the Fallen Leaves: Hot Foil Plate with gold foil. I added some color to the inside of the foil using the Fallen Leaves: Stencils. I die cut using the Larger Than Life: Fall Dies.
For the background, I once again used the Fallen Leaves: Stencils. I used an artist brush with black acrylic paint, white acrylic paint, and gold paint to add splatters. I ink blended the edges to create the look of the inspiration photo.
I arranged the elements onto the card using a vellum Love to Layer: Oval dies to ground the images, yet not detract from the background. For the additional sentiment, I stamped using the Larger Than Life: Fall Mini stamp set. I arranged the card elements and added the panel to a top folding select white card stock base using foam tape. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
Here is a list of many of the products I generally
use every time I make a card.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
