Hello friends! I am this week's Color Throwdown Challenge Featured Stamper! I created two cards using these wonderful colors!
I am using Concord and 9th Harvest Wreath stamp set and Harvest Wreath die set. I started with white card stock. I stamped and die cut the frame and leaves using white card stock. I stamped the sentiment using Memento Rich Cocoa ink. For the background, I used more white card stock and ink blended speckled egg and stormy sky distress inks. I stamped a retired Stampin Up background stamp called Wonderfully Worn for the spotted detailing using Memento rich cocoa ink. I used SSS Kaleidoscope embossing folder to add texture. I ink blended more of the stormy sky ink around the edges.
I used an artist brush with white acrylic paint to add a few subtle white splatters. I let the panel dry. I die cut the panel using an A2 Rectangle Stitched die. I added the panel to a top folding white card stock base. I arranged all of the elements. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
For my second card, I used the same Concord and 9th Harvest Wreath stamp set and Harvest Wreath die set. I started with white card stock. I did not stamp the turnabout stamp per instructions. I created my own background design with the help of my MISTI.
I used rich cocoa, kraft, and speckled egg inks.
I used the same retired Stampin Up background stamp, Wonderfully Worn. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
I am playing along with Retro Rubber Challenge (SU background circa 2010?). If you know, I would love to know. It may be around 2009?
Here is a list of many of the products I generally
use every time I make a card.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
the technique of the first card has me swooning. love it.
ReplyDeleteWOW!! Your card is both elegant and gorgeous, love the awesome texture of your background panel, the darker sponging around the edges makes the center sentiment pop up beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing with us at RETRO RUBBER.
