Hello friends! I have a card to share today playing along with a couple of blog challenges.
I started with white card stock. I am using Concord and 9th Painted Peony stamp set with the Painted Peony die set for my focal images. I inked one flower with Pinkfresh Studio soft lilac, candy violet, and regal kiss inks, then the other two with apricot, clementine, and persimmon inks. I used fine linen and kraft ink for the bud stems. For the the leaves, I used spring moss and green leaf inks.
Once all the images were inked and die cut, I focused on the background. I used white card stock. I stamped a retired Stampin Up background stamp called Sanded for the texture using soft lilac ink. I distressed stamped the You Are background stamp using black ink. I did not want a perfect impression. I used an artist brush with black acrylic paint and Starry Colors to add black and metallic gold splatters. I let the panel dry. I die cut the panel using an A2 Rectangle Stitched die.
I added the panel to a top folding kraft card stock base. I arranged all of the elements. For the sentiment, I stamped the sentiment using the same Painted Flowers stamp set. I white embossed onto black card stock. I die cut it using Fancy Label Frames. I finished the card with a few metallic gold pearls in the centers of the flowers and on the background.
I am playing along with Color Throwdown Challenge, and Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge.
Here is a list of many of the products I generally
use every time I make a card.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
