Hello friends! I have a card to share today playing along with a couple of blog challenges.
I started with white card stock. I used Altenew's Lush Garden stamp and die set. I stamped the flowers and leaves using Memento tuxedo black ink. I layered fog ink, kraft ink, and memento tuxedo black ink for the large flowers. For the leaves I used fog and smoke inks. I ink blended the flowers and leaves with some antique linen distress ink just to soften the white card stock base around the edges.
Once all the images were colored and die cut, I focused on the background. I started with kraft card stock. I die cut Plaid Cover die using white card stock. I used the die cut as a stencil. I very roughly and trying to randomly add texture used embossing paste with a craft knife. I let the panel dry. I then combined white acrylic paint and sand acrylic paint to dry brush onto the background and textured areas. Once this was dried. I lightly stamped Hero Arts Script Bold Prints background using tuxedo black ink. I ink blended the edges with brushed corduroy distress ink and ground expresso ink.
I used an artist brush and black acrylic paint to add splatters. I used foam tape to add the panel to a kraft card stock base. I also ink blended the edges as well. I arranged the flower elements onto the card. I used foam tape and some double sided tape. I then used the artist brush to add some silver metallic splatters to the whole panel along with the flowers and leaves.
For the sentiment, I used one of the sentiments included in the Hello Beautiful stamp set. I stamped onto black card stock using versamark ink. I cream embossed. I die cut the sentiment using Pinkfresh Studio Fancy Label frames. I finish the card with a few clear sequins.
I am playing along with The Color Throwdown Challenge, The Sisterhood of Crafters, and Allsorts Challenge
