Hello friends! I have a card to share playing along with a couple of blog challenges.
I started with strathmore watercolor paper, Gansai Tambi watercolors, and a large watercolor brush. I used a few shades of blues to create the background look.
I call this look/technique "A Little Dab Will Do Ya" as I literally picked up concentrated watercolor with a large watercolor brush and dabbed to get the look. I started with light colors first then added the darker shades. I used an artist brush with white acrylic paint to add splatters. I die cut this panel using a Waffle Flower A2 Rectangle Layers die. I added foam tape and added it to a top folding white card stock base.
Next, I focused on the snowflakes. I used SSS Melody Snowflake, SSS Mandala Snowflake, and Deck the Halls set and die cut using white card stock. I arranged the snowflakes onto the card. For the sentiments, I used Waffle Flower Sentiment Additions stamp and die combo. I used PFS Seaside ink. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
I am playing along with Create A Smile Challenge and Waffle Flower Crafts Blog Challenge. We are to use blue and white to create a Birthday card. I did not have a Waffle flower birthday sentiment, so I improvised a bit.
Here is a list of many of the products I generally
use every time I make a card.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
Love this card. Thank you for sharing.
