an inspiration piece! Get inspired and create a card or project using the photo below!

For my card I am using Verve's Borderline and Celebration of Thanks stamp sets along with Verve's Cut Above Mini Vintage Oval and Starry
die sets. I die cut, layered, and stamped the frames. I die cut the stars with black glittered card stock. I added my sentiment. I added a golden sun seam binding
bow using Verve's Summer Sailing Ribbon Collection top with coordinating threaded button. I finished my card with Verve's Pastel Sequin Mix dyed to match in black using a Copic 100.
I am playing along with FUSION Card Challenge. I chose to use the sketch only since the C4C has an inspiration picture.
Check out what the rest of the team did with this week's challenge!

Flourishes Bring Back Beautiful Challenge!
Happy Monday! Welcome to another Bring Back Beautiful Challenge! For this month’s Bring Back Beautiful challenge, we’d like to honor those in our lives that bless us with their friendship with THE BEAUTY OF FRIENDSHIP. The
challenge is just that simple – make a card or creation with a friend
in mind!
One of the things I love to do is mix and match Flourishes stamp sets. For my card I am using Sweet Days of Summer, Seeds of Friendship, Fuchsias In Bloom(tag sentiment), and Tiny Flowers and Tags (leafy image to stamp tag with). I started with a new Spellbinder's Embossing Folder for my background. To make the embossed areas really pop I glided my Momento Rhubarb ink pad over the top til I achieved the look I was going for. Gliding the ink pad over the top allows the color to grab onto just the raised portions. You need to turn the card stock to make sure all the raised areas are covered. I ink distressed the edges with Rangers Brushed Corduroy ink.
Next, I die cut the new Spellbinder's Floral Ovals using Metallic Mirrored card stock. Love these dies! When cut with mirrored card stock the look is even more amazing if that is even possible. I layered with a softly stenciled Spellbinder's oval die using Flourishes Classic Ivory card stock. I used Ranger's Scattered Straw ink and using the Ink Blending Tool with Replacement foam helps to achieve the inner glow. I did use two copic markers (R24 and R59) from Flourishes Copic Color Collections to color the flowers in the image. I finished with a seam binding bow, a flower, and sentiment tag. To keep all of my panels staying put I like to use Scor-tape. I also used some dimensional foam tape to create some depth and dimension.
As always thanks so much for stopping by! Please give a warm welcome to the newest Bring Back Beautiful designers, Claudia, Linda, and Naomi! A big Congrats, too, to Kathy for stepping up to take the reigns to be team coordinator! Looking forward to working with you all!

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC109), SCS CC315, and MORE!
Happy Tuesday, everyone! It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC109)! Silke is our challenge host. Silke is challenging us to use butterflies on our cards. Easy peasy and fun to boot! I am using the colors from SCS CC314 Challenge! Baja Breeze, Soft Suede, and Crumb Cake!
I chose to go vintage collage shabby chic with my card today. I created a faux cameo postage stamp. The butterfly covers it up in this photo a bit, so I have a close up picture to the right. My big bow covers up the Post Card written across the top of the bundled postcards look. For my card I combined several Flourishes sets to get the stack of post card design and background detailing. I am using Flourishes From the Desk Of, Antique Map, Kids Play, Vintage Postcard, and Falling Leaves(sentiment) stamp sets.
For the challenge, I stamped the Antique Map and En Francaise onto cardstock and punched. I added glue and glitter. I love how the image detail comes through the glittered butterfly.
For the faux cameo postage stamp look, I took the little girl image from Kids Play set and masked off the head area. I stamped using vintage cream ink directly to cardstock and let dry. I cut out using the smallest oval from my Spellbinder's beaded oval nestabilities. I usually bypass some of the smaller pieces so it was fun to see what shape they made. I added glossy accents and let dry. I also used the smallest rectangle from my petite rectangle nestabilities to give me the look of a postage stamp. I think the look is very close since the scallops are so close together. Love the finished look.
Make sure you check out the other blog team designers to see what they created with butterflies!

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC97)! Peppermint Fries!
It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC97)! This week Maki Jones is our challenge host! Maki is challenging us to a theme! The theme is all about food and drink! Create a card or project that showcases some yummy treats either real or stamped! We look forward to seeing what delicious looking creations you make!
For the food and drink challenge, I decided to have alittle bit of fun with one of my Christmas favorites. I just love the chalky textured peppermint sticks. The only place locally I can find them is at the Cracker Barrel. One day last week, my son and I did the drive through thing at a local restaurant called Smithfield's Barbeque! We decide to share a small french fry. The fries were served in this fabulous red and white container. As soon as I saw it, the lightbulb went off. I thought "peppermint fries!" I went buy the other day and was only charged alittle over a buck for more than a dozen. How cool is that? I am using the Flourishes Sweets of the Seasons for the candy cane cluster and sentiment. I layered the image with a Spellbinder's lacey circle and used some tissue paper and the project was done.
I am using the sketch from Crazy 4 Challenges 67. Cafe Character: Glitter ABC Christmas challenge - Y=yuletide (holly and berries and red and green) Alphabet challenge -G is for glitter (used gel pen and glitter cardstock)Craft Your Days Away - Punch it out Crafty Pad - Heat or Dry Embossing Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes Die Cut Dreams Christmas - A Christmas Carol ("Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas")Fresh Brewed Challenges - Sparkle & ShineLet's Ink It Up - Christmas with sparkle &; bling Lots to do - GlitzMami Doodles - Anything Goes Opus Gluei - Getting Frosted Stampin' with the Dragon - make it sparkle Sugar Sweet Paper Treats - Anything Goes OSAAT-Anything Goes
