Happy Friday! There is no school today since we have snow coming in this morning. It is also why I am still awake at midnight. I had some time to get crafty. I am back with another card for Papertrey Inks 9th Anniversary Celebrations.
My card is for PTI Challenge Day 5. Sampler Square Challenge. I read the rules for the challenge.
Create a new card
that features nine 1-1/2" squares,
each altered in a different way.
Mount them all onto a 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" square card base.
I did all of this on my card. However, nowhere in the "rules" did it say ALL or the WHOLE of the squares had to be showing. This is the layout and look I came up with.

I mounted the layout to a PTI white linen panel, added some loose threading, and a few sequins and my card was complete.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteBetty, these are super colorful, very modern, and meet the challenge I'd say! I like the second
ReplyDeleteone a little bit better, the gold brings in another color. Gorgeous!
Sometimes one word is all that is necessary and that word for this is PERFECTION! I love it, Betty!! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative design with your grids Betty! I think I prefer the red YOU - with the dark color it stops the eye there at the edge of the card. with the yellow - your eye kind of justs floats right off the card! (imho!) have a great weekend - hope you didn't get too much snow! Julia xx
ReplyDeleteThis is so creative! This challenge intimidates me, but your card has given me hope.
