Happy Wednesday! I am popping in with a card to share. I am playing along with a couple of blog challenges.
Papertrey Inks Make It Monday Lots of Dots Challenge and
I started with some PTI kraft card stock. I used the Noted Scallop A2 die Collection. I stamped the background using a striped background from my stash two times to create the crisscross effect using more PTI kraft ink. Next, I ran the banner piece through the same scalloped frame background and used my scissors to create a fishtail. I stamped the this fishtail piece with Background Basics: Celestial Sky stamp using versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I again used the Noted Scalloped A2 die collection for the oval with PTI select white card stock. I die cut and stamped the ice cream cones using Sweet Treats stamp set and Sweet Treats die using using PTI select white card stock and kraft card stock. I used kraft ink on the bottom of the cone. For the strawberry ice cream I used hibiscus burst ink and for the chocolate ice cream I used cocoa bean ink. I added my Nuvo Gloss White drops. I love how the cocoa bean ink soaked into the the drops creating a coffee flavored topping. I added some wink of stella in between the nuvo drops for some added shine.
I again used the Sweet Treats stamp set for the sentiment. I used versafine onyx black for some of the words and hibiscus burst ink for the "Scoop." I added foam tape to the back of the fishtail and oval pieces to pop up for added dimension and popped them onto the card base. I inked the edges using more kraft ink for added dimension. I finished my card with a few clear sequins.
As always thank so much for stopping by!
