Happy Wednesday! I have a card to share today using the new inspiration from
This challenge is Winter Warmth!
Hope you can join us and play along.
Hope you can join us and play along.
I was inspired by the cup, snowflakes, and cocoa! I created a vintage inspired card.
I started with a panel of vintage cream card stock. I ink blended the background using Ranger Distress Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, Gathered Twigs, and Walnut Stain inks. I added some water splashes as well as some ink splatters using the same distress inks. To intensify the splatters, I used some black acrylic paint mixed with water. I used PTI Border Tin Stitch die to create additional texture. I die cut the panel using an Avery Elle pierced rectangle frame.
I stamped another vintage cream card stock panel with a MFT gingham background stamp(retired) using Schoolhouse Red Ink. I added this panel to a top folding vintage cream card stock base. I ink blended some antique linen distress ink around the edges of the card base. I added the ink blended panel to the top slightly tilted using some foam tape. For the hot chocolate mug, I used PTI Cup of Love die. I used pure poppy card stock and ink blended some pure poppy ink around the edges for added definition.
I used SSS Eliza Snowflake Wafer die for the the cup. I added two additional snowflakes using Kaleidoscope Snowflake dies. I used Paper Rose Sentiment Strip die to create the cinnamon sticks. For the sentiment, I used SSS Snowflake Season stamp set. Once everything was assembled, I used some white acrylic paint to add even more splatters. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
I am playing along with Simon Monday Challenge and Simon Wednesday Challenge to use something new. I received my SSS January Card Kit. The Eliza Snowflake Wafer die is new!
Here is a list of many of the products I generally
use every time I make a card.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
