Hello friends! I have a card to share today playing along with
a couple of blog challenges!
I am playing along with The Color Throwdown and Tic Tac Toe Challenge.
I started with white card stock. I used Altenew's Feathered Lilies Craft Your Life Kit. Oftentimes, these amazing kits sell out. However, if you subscribe to the kit, here, you do not have to worry about not getting yours. Plus, there is a 17% savings to subscribe! I subscribe! Just easier that way as I can cancel a shipment if I want. I stamped the the beautiful large lilies using versamark and heat embossed with Brutus Monroe Gilded embossing powder. For the flowers, I ink blended the layering stencils using Berrylicious and Candy Apple inks with a touch of Schoolhouse Red ink. For the leaves, I used Misty Coast and Rocky Slope inks. I diecut the flowers using the included die.
Once all the images were inked and die cut, I focused on the background. I debossed using Vintage Cream card stock the Dotted Swirls Cover. I used an artist brush with black acrylic paint to add splatters. I arranged the flower onto the panel using foam tape. I trimmed the overhang. I used foam tape to add the panel to a top folding white card stock base.
For the sentiment, I used the Feathered Lilies set. This set has many wonderful sentiments. I stamped the sentiment using versafine onyx black ink and die cut using the Fancy Labels Frames die set. I finished the card with a few Metallic Gold Pearls.
Here is a list of many of the products I generally
use every time I make a card.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
Gorgeous card, Betty! Thanks for joining us for the Color Throwdown challenge this week!
