Hello friends! I have a card to share playing along with a couple of blog challenges.
For my card, I started with SSS Magnolia Blossom wafer die for the flower, Sweet Garden Birds wafer die set for the twig and Blooming Meadow stamp and die set for the leaves. I used vintage cream card stock for the flower, dark chocolate card stock for the branches, and simply chartreuse for the leaves. I ink blended Fog and Misty Morning inks to get the light shadow tones for my magnolia. I did a few touches of ballet slipper ink. The center and stamens were ink blended using goldenlocks, and fine linen inks. For the leaves, I stamped the leaves onto simply chartreuse card stock with olive twist ink and used simply chartreuse with a touch of ripe avocado inks for the layered stamp shading.
Next, I focused on the background panel. I started with vintage cream card stock panel. I embossed using the Vine Canopy embossing folder. I ink blended the panel using a combination of fine linen and ballet slipper inks. I trimmed the panel and added foam tape to the back and added the panel to a top folding vintage cream top folding card stock base that I ink blended the edges using fine linen inks.
I arranged the magnolia flower and branches with leaves to create a magnolia stem with blossom look.
For the sentiment, I used Silhouette Sentiments stamp set. I used vintage cream card stock with versamark and heat embossed with Brutus Monroe Gilded embossing powder. I die cut using my Paper Rose Studio sentiment strips die. I used an artist brush with black acrylic paint and golden glitz to add splatters. I finished the card with a few of the Peach Fuzz Jewel Mix.
I am playing along with SSS Monday Challenge and SSS Wednesday Challenge.
Here is a list of many of the products I generally
use every time I make a card.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
