I started with white card stock. I used PFS Slimline Hearts Builder Layering Stencil Set. You can slide the stencils over and line them up to create as large a panel as you need. I combined coral reef, passion fruit, and candy apply inks for the hearts. I added some Pops of Colors Glitter Snowflake with a palette knife to a few of the hearts after watching Jennifer McGuire's Stepped-Up Stencil Layering. I must remember to do this more often. I really like the look.
I die cut the panel using an A2 Rectangle die. I ink blended another white card stock panel with more of the candy apple ink to coordinate with the colors of the stenciling. I added the heart panel at a slight tilt on top then added both to a top folding white card stock base using some foam tape. Brushed Sentiments Die
Once the background was done, I focused on the focal elements. I layered a Stitched Scalloped Circle die, a red glitter card stock layered shaker hearts die, and a Leafy Branch die using vellum.
For the sentiment, I used the same colors of ink with the Brushed Sentiments Layering Stencils and die cut with the Brushed Sentiments die. I finished the card with a few Metallic Gold Pearls.
I am playing along with a few blog challenges. Tic Tac Toe, As You See It, and Festive Friday Challenge.
