For You!

Happy Wednesday, friends!  I have a card to share today using the new inspiration from The Card Concept Challenge!

The challenge is Fresh New Year!

Hope you can join us and play along!

I was inspired by the colors, patterns, and flowers.  I created a Clean and Layered styled card.

I  started with select white card stock. I used Pinkfresh Studio It's a New Day Floral stamp set, It's a New Day stencil set, and It's a New Day coordinating die set.  I stamped the images using versamark  and heat embossed with Brutus Monroe Gilded embossing powderink blended both flowers with Pinkfresh Studio sparkling rosebubble gum, and raspberry inks.  For the leaves, I used simply chartreuse with a touch of ripe avocado.

Once the flowers and leaves were die cut, I focused on the background elements.  I used the Lush Vines hot foil plate as an embossing folder for the background texture. I layered the larger of the stitched scalloped rectangles  to the top then added foam tape  to the back to add to a top folding  select white card stock base.

Next, I created the bold black and white circle pattern to mimic the inspiration photo by die cutting the Color Block Stripes die set with black and white card stock.  I glued the strips to a panel and die cut with a circle die.  I then added the Stitched Scallop Circle frame using metallic gold card stock.

For the sentiment, I used the Celebrate Us stamp set.
I stamped using versamark ink onto true black card stock and white embossed. I die cut using my Paper Rose Studio sentiment strips die.  I finished the card with a few Metallic Gold Pearls.

Here is a list of many of the products I generally
use every time I make a card.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Beautiful card. The pink flowers are so pretty and look great over the b/w stripe in the circle frame. TFS
