Papertrey Ink July Release Countdown Day 3!

Welcome to Day 3 of the Papertrey Ink Release Countdown!

Papertrey Ink Day 3 Countdown!

Everything will be available for purchase beginning at 10 PM ET, Thursday the 21st!

I have two cards to share today!

My first card uses the new

Cover Plate: Flutter dies

Tag-Its: Mini stamps and dies

Just Sentiments: You're On My Mind

I started with white card stock.  I ink blended some summer sunrise, hibiscus burst, and raspberry fizz, and amethyst allure inks direct to paper.  I spritzed with water and let it dry between colors.  I added some splatters.  I let the panel dry.  I die cut it using the new

Cover Plate: Flutter die using true black card stock. I added it to the top of the ink blended panel.  I did snip a few of the butterflies so that the wings had movement.

I stamped the sentiment from Just Sentiments: You're On My Mind. I stamped the new Tag-Its: Mini stamps and dies and tied to the sentiment panel. I finished with a few clear sequins.

My 2nd card uses the new
Crafting Queen stamps and dies

Tag-Its: Mini stamps and dies

I also used

I die cut my Baseball T die using hawaiian shores.  I ink blended the bottom to create an ombre effect.  I added some splatters. I stamped the sentiment and detail pieces using the new Crafting Queen stamps and dies.

I added the T-shirt to a panel that I embossed using the Cover Plate: Ornate Die.  I also added Bitty Big Soft Stone to the card base. I finished the card with a sentiment tag hanging from the T-Shirt using the new Tag-Its: Mini stamps and dies.

Here is a list of many of the products I generally
use every time I make a card.

As always thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Pretty cards. I love how you used the Tag It Mini to add a second sentiment. Simple, but adds a lot of interest.

  2. What ink do you use to print on vellum? I have a hard time with that.

    1. I usually use versafine onyx black and clear emboss. This time I used Gina K. Amalgam ink.
