Hello Friends! I have five cards to share today using Simon Says Stamp Friendly Flowers Card Kit for April.
This month's kit is wonderful! Purchasing card kits gives you a great opportunity to try new items and techniques. Plus, the value is amazing! Did you know that there are several ways to purchase Simon Says card kit and its contents? You can buy the card kit each month it is release or you can opt for a monthly subscription for extra savings and to ensure you get yours before it sells out. Of course, if you do not want to purchase the entire kit or you want more items that are included in the kit, you can purchase items separately.
Here are just a few items sold separately in this month's kit.
Simple Stories Cottage Fields Paper Pad
Simple Stories Cottage Fields Sticker Book
Simon Says Stamp Cream Embossing Powder
Tim Holtz Idea-ology Velvet Trims
Tim Holtz Idea-ology Mini Flair Embellishments
Card 1 ~ Sending Smiles!
For this card, I started with a cream card stock base to coordinate with the beautiful pattern papers in the kit, Simple Stories Cottage Fields Paper. I die cut a Fancy Oval Frame using cream card stock. I layered two frames together for dimension and stability. I then stamped one of the sentiments using the Friendly Flowers stamp set included in the kit with Versafine Onyx black ink using the oval cut out. I used foam tape to pop up the oval panel. I used one of the sticker flowers that come in the kit popped up for added dimension. I finished the card with a few crystal embellishments.
Card 2 ~ So Thankful!
For this card, I used select white card stock base. I added another panel and scored at the top right and bottom left using We R Memory Keepers Mini Score Board. I die cut this panel using Waffle Flowers A2 Layer die. I added this panel to the card base using foam tape. Next, I used one of the premade panels in the Simple Stories Cottage Fields Paper Pad. I added it to the center of the card with foam tape. I used one of the stickers in the kit for the sentiment. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
I love your cards. I have the kit but haven't had a chance to play yet. Thanks for the inspiration.
