Happy Wednesday, friends! I have a card to share today using the new inspiration from The Card Concept Challenge!
The challenge is Make It Masculine!
Hope you can join us and play along!
I was inspired by the warm tones and masculine inspiration. I created a Mixed Media styled card.
I started with select white card stock. I ink blended the background panel using PTI Perfect Plaid Stencil Collection. I used Honey Nut ink. I stamped the lines using Smokey Shadow ink and PTI Super Stripes stamp set (retired). I ink blended the entire panel using kraft ink. I distressed stamped MFT Romantic Script background stamp to add some added texture and dimension.
Once the background was done, I worked on the focal image. I used SSS Sketched Leaf Branches Hot Foil Plate and dies. I hot foiled the leaf using my Gemini FoilPress with polished brass foil. I die cut using the included die. I die cut the leaf image using white card stock several times and layered for added dimension.
For the sentiment, I used SSS So Talkative stamp set. I stamped using versamark ink onto true black card stock and white embossed. I die cut the panel using a Stitched Banner die. I arranged the card elements and added the panel to a top folding select white card stock base using foam tape. I finished the card with a few clear sequins.
Here is a list of many of the products I generally
use every time I make a card.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!
